Steventon House Hotel & Restaurant is the ideal venue for wedding receptions, dinners for anniversaries, birthdays etc and also dinner dances.

Wedding Receptions

With regard to the details for the wedding reception we like to take time to talk to you and discuss your individual requirements. However, the following is a brief guide - full details are available on request: -

  • We invite you to create your own menu from a list of suggested dishes
  • When you have done this the price per head for the meal also includes:
    • a bedroom for use as a changing room, storing presents, etc
    • use of cake stand and knife if required
  • The room where the reception is held will seat up to 80 for a formal sit-down meal and if you invite more guests for the evening we can accommodate up to 130 with a finger buffet. Sample buffet menus are included in the information we send but these are suggestions only & can be altered to suit your requirements
  • The room has a dance floor and is ideal for a disco or small group / band
  • We can provide all your requirements for welcome drinks for your guests, wine with the meal and sparkling wine or champagne for the toast - full details of this and a wine list are included in the information we send
  • We can make arrangements for your flowers and floral arrangements or put you in touch with a florist
  • You choose the colour of the table linen and napkins to complement your colour scheme
  • We have 23 en-suite bedrooms all equipped with telephone, television, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board

We are more than happy to discuss any individual requirements you may like to incorporate into your wedding day. If you would like to ring to make an appointment to visit we would be pleased to show you round and discuss matters further, which would also be a good opportunity to sample our house wine.

Dinners/Private Functions

The Conservatory Restaurant is an ideal venue for private functions as we can seat up to 80 guests. There is a small dance floor & the room overlooks mature gardens. We discuss individual requirements with regard to the menu & cater for any special requests wherever possible.
